Join us as a Roll Out Consultant at Vopak! You will be part of an international organization that has the ambition to protect the integrity of our assets and utilize them as efficiently as possible.  In this role you will have a crucial position in the global implementation of new ways of working and related solutions to support the Maintain to Operate processes in Vopak, while maintaining operational standards. The Global Operations & Customer Care office  is searching for a colleague to fill the role of Global roll out consultant for the Maintenance Improvement Program(MIP) and Permit to Work (PTW) program in more than 40 terminals globally.

What do we expect from you as a Roll Out Consultant?

• Minimum HBO or comparable education in the field of Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management or a demonstrated background in Vopak’s frontline execution jobs (Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, Technical Department).Bachelor level (HBO)

• Minimum of two years experience in tank storage terminal processes

• Knowledgeable of the tank storage terminal processes within the relevant domain;

• Knowledgeable with Vopak Maintenance Management blueprint and global standards as mentioned above are a pre;

• Professional attitude and presence with ability to bring a message across and take a group of people along;

• Team player with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a dynamic environment;

• Self starter with ability to work independently;

• Willingness to travel and work abroad for periods of time

• Ability to adapt to different local situations around the world and work in multicultural teams;

• A sharp analytical nature, a pragmatic mentality and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization;

• Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally;

• Excellent skills in Google suite applications and project supporting applications;

• Ability to facilitate workshops and mobilize people;

• Competencies:  helicopter view and organizational sensitivity , creativity in finding solutions for issues, stress resistant, flexible and pragmatic, culturally sensitive.

What does your day look like?

In your daily role, you'll tackle four primary challenges. This includes actively participating in business unit implementation teams for MIP Industrial Roll Out or PTW Industrial Roll Out, assisting local teams in adopting the new system while upholding global operational standards. You'll swiftly grasp terminal processes and the EAM system's capabilities and limitations, crucial for managing operations. Your responsibilities also encompass conducting thorough business process analysis, managing system setup, addressing application and integration issues, and facilitating knowledge transfer on application functionality and content. In essence, your role involves excelling in these four key areas.

Core Responsibilities

• You will work in an international multidisciplinary environment. As a Rollout Consultant you will work with business unit teams and support the local implementation team at the terminal. The Roll Out team will combine understanding of the core Vopak processes with implementation governance and change management capabilities. To fulfill your role in supporting local implementations at terminals, you will have to spend time with local implementation teams on site. International travel with assignments abroad multiple times a year will be required. Are you still in?

• Deliver advice, guidance and recommendations on system configuration and implement best practices for designated terminals.

• Liaise between divisional and local teams to ensure timely and successful implementation of roll outs.

• Guide and support local implementation teams and key users by creating and improving guidance documents.

• Transfer application knowledge and implementation process understanding to local implementation teams.

• Assist with Key user training if and when necessary. 

• Give input to optimizing the implementation toolkit

• Guide and support local implementation teams and key users with data collection, preparation and data conversion as well as data loads at designated terminals;

• Assist local implementation teams with project documentation, and procedures at designated terminals.

• Guide and support local ROCs and Key Users in their support roles after Go Live including issue logging, governance and additional end-user training.

• Assist local teams with benefit identifying and tracking

• Analyze performance indicators and support continuous improvement
