You take the initiative on a day-to-day basis to support the Sustainability Manager with the overall roll-out of the sustainability programs and driving change towards net-zero operations. Parallel to this you take pro-active initiative to identify subsidy opportunities and supervise various subsidy applications within the various businesses of Vopak Netherlands. You have a proactive attitude, superior Excel skills, strong organizational skills and a careful work style. You also have an affinity with energy-saving and sustainable technologies relevant to Vopak. You can also easily interact with various parties such as colleagues, suppliers, government agencies and third parties. You have frequent contact with Vopak's external advisor who supports you - where necessary - with specific expertise and experience in the performance of your work.
You will be part of the Europe & Africa Divisional SHEQ team reporting to the Sustainability Manager.
Strong belief in environmental, economic, commercial and social benefits of sustainable development with a pragmatic and realistic mindset;
Basic understanding of the Dutch subsidy schemes;

Youre role as intern Sustainability & Subsidies
Monitor and assisting in the sustainability plans;
Assisting in the monitoring of Vopak's emissions;
Initiate, draft and submit subsidy applications;
Supervise various subsidy applications and actively follow up;
Actively monitor CAPEX and OPEX projects for subsidy potential;
