As our Learning Lead, you will be responsible for the sourcing, developing, and executing the company's Learning & Development (L&D) program framework for the Singapore terminals' Operations & Technical teams, as well as to improve employees and organizational performance through our Vopak Learning Academy initiatives.

  • Responsible for identifying learning needs for terminal Operations and Technical teams as part of the broader business strategy, and defining the priorities in partnership with stakeholders in designing and recommending programs that support our business objectives.

  • Conduct training needs analysis for the organization and coordinate competency assessments for operational and front line teams.

  • Ensure the implementation of the L&D framework management and alignment towards overall training matrix. 

  • Design and develop training courses or strands of L&D programs and assessments, incorporate specified L&D methodologies and delivery channels, and to develop relevant content and high-quality learning resources to ensure high levels of learner engagement and outcomes.

  • Ensure quality compliance as measured by audit reports, ISO standards and other quality control initiatives relating to L& D functions.

  • Promote a culture of lifelong and self-driven learning to support the organization's vision in enabling learning and developing employees' capabilities.

  • Responsible for the alignment within L&D framework as point of contact for learning & development requirements and queries on operational and technical learning needs.

  • Build stakeholder relationship and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to contribute towards a future-ready organization.


  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Organizational Development or a related field / Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment, with 6 to 9 years of relevant terminal operational experience in the similar industry.

  • Proven experience in managing learning needs, competency development and assessments. 

  • Familiar and experience with e-learning platforms and practices.

  • Proficient in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and highly proficient user of Microsoft Office, and Google Suite applications. 

  • Experience in building dashboards or reports.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving ability and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Structured, logical and attention to details. 

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

  • Possess a "can do" attitude and is comfortable driving process improvements and changes.
